Partnerships are a mainstay of the National Marine Sanctuary Program. We work together with educators, researchers, scientists, non-profit organizations, zoos, museums, aquariums, visitor centers, and people like you to get our messages out on the airwaves. And, where would we be without funding? The National Marine Sanctuary Foundation is one of our staunchest supporters created to assist the federally managed National Marine Sanctuary Program with education and outreach programs designed to preserve, protect and promote meaningful opportunities for public interaction with the nation's marine sanctuaries.
Another key supporter is the USS Monitor Foundation. The foundation is a non-profit organization created to address the long-term funding needs of the USS Monitor Center to include artifact treatment, exhibit revitalization, programs and more.
